Annual combi-boiler service, planned maintenance, and emergency boiler support—keeping your heat and hot water reliable year-round.

Planned Maintenance

The Benefits of Planned Maintenance for Your Boilers and Combi-Boiler

Combi-boilers and boilers work hard to ensure your comfort by providing hot water and heat for your home on a daily basis. Routine boiler and combi-boiler maintenance is a key component to maximizing efficiency and getting the most value from your equipment over the long term.

Routine maintenance for boiler and combi-boiler equipment prolongs the life of this equipment and will spare you the cold and inconvenience of an equipment failure—just ask our clients who didn’t realize what they needed to maintain their equipment and called us after the fact.

Annual Inspection & Cleaning Recommended

Combi-Boiler Planned Maintenance

Combi-boilers from a reliable manufacturer that have been properly installed require very little attention and will run for very long periods during the coldest days and nights.

Annual Inspection & Cleaning

For planned maintenance on a modern closed-loop combi-boiler, an annual inspection and cleaning is recommended. Use a knowledgeable technician who understands the very early signs of equipment trouble and who will communicate your risks and options well in advance of a failure.

Critical Component Replacement

Planned combi-boiler maintenance should also include the replacement of critical components such as flame rods, ignitors, and flame sensors in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.

Annual Preventative Service

Preventative maintenance service for boilers should happen on an annual basis—every 12 months—to protect efficiency, comfort, and equipment life.

Emergency Boiler Service

Boiler and Combi-Boiler Service—“Unplanned Maintenance”

Depending on where you live and the time of year, heat may be an absolute necessity. We want to be sure all of our customers are safe and comfortable. For the systems we install, we maintain a vast inventory of parts locally, and we are prepared if there is ever an issue. Most manufacturers we work with will send parts overnight, but it is important to be prepared. Our goal is to make repairs and restore heat and hot water as quickly as possible.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you are experiencing any issues with your boiler or combi-boiler system.

Do you have an existing combi-boiler system that isn’t working the way you think it should? Or is it not generating the savings you expected? Then consider having Blue Conservation perform an audit of the system.

Auditing & Consulting

Post-Installation Audits and Troubleshooting Services

If you are concerned that your commercial tankless water heater, boiler or combi-boiler equipment wasn’t installed properly, you can reach out to Blue Conservation’s auditing and consulting services team. We will discuss your concerns and provide a quote to assess the root cause (a component part or installation issue), provide troubleshooting to fix the problem, and/or recommend options when more extensive repairs are required.

It is easier and more cost-effective to request a tankless equipment consultation prior to the installation. Reach out to us for general tankless equipment questions or to review design plans, including mechanical and gas/electrical connections, and to assess ventilation and drainage.

Troubleshooting

Combi-Boiler Error Codes—What Do I Do Now?

Blue Conservation has installed and serviced combi-boilers within the Philadelphia region for over 12 years. We now have a strong team that can troubleshoot and address issues when they arise. Fortunately, most of these units are very good at communicating and have easy-to-read digital displays to show error or fault codes.

Sometimes, pressing a reset button or even power-cycling the units by unplugging them and plugging back in can clear the code and quickly reactivate the system. Other times, the error code is related to a larger issue requiring service or a parts replacement. Blue Conservation has a team of trained technicians, as well as an extensive parts inventory, available to assist and get your system working as quickly as possible.

It is best to record any error codes and let us know the history, as it will expedite repairs. If we know the make, model, and error code, we can make sure to bring any parts related to the issue and strive to resolve the problem in our first visit.
