On-call service and routine maintenance for tankless water heaters across the Mid-Atlantic—Philadelphia, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and parts of Maryland.

Expert Tankless Water Heater Service

Blue Conservation provides on-call service as well as routine maintenance for tankless water heaters in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Philadelphia, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and parts of Maryland. Pennsylvania Contractor #PA099038. We service all major tankless makes and models and specialize in Rinnai, Navien, A.O. Smith/Takagi, Jacuzzi, Weil McClain, Rheem, and Bosch.

For tankless water heaters, manufacturers recommend preventative maintenance service and a descaling flush every 12 to 18 months. For non-condensing models, an additional top-down combustion clean-out is recommended every four years.

We carry spare parts kits for most Rinnai and Navien systems.

The Benefits of Planned Maintenance for Your Hot Water System

Blue Conservation wants you to maximize the lifetime value of your tankless water heater, boiler, or combi-boiler, and routine maintenance is a key component to securing maximum efficiency over the long term.

Remember, with proper maintenance, your tankless equipment is expected to last twice as long as a standard unit. Following the manufacturer’s recommendations for preventative maintenance also preserves the warranty and minimizes costly, unplanned disruptions to your water service.

Screen Filter Cleaning

Keeps inlet flow clear and protects internal components from debris.

Flushing / Descaling

Recommended every 12–18 months to remove mineral buildup and maintain efficiency.

Combustion Clean-Out

Top-down combustion clean-out for non-condensing units—recommended every four years.

Full Inspection

Technician inspection to catch small issues before they become major problems.

Routine maintenance doesn’t just keep tankless systems running efficiently; it also helps to catch small issues before they turn into major problems.

Combi-Boiler Service

Combi-Boiler Service and Maintenance

Blue Conservation offers full service and support for condensing boilers and combi-boilers within the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. While these systems are robust and designed for years of use, we recommend annual maintenance to ensure that these units are working properly and efficiently, and we want to address any issues or concerns before the situation becomes an emergency.

Most of these condensing boilers and combis do not require extensive maintenance and service. Most often, heating systems are “closed loop,” so there is no need for an annual boiler flush, but we do want to make sure there is no signs of corrosion or leaks that could introduce new water or air into the system.

The annual planned maintenance is performed by a trained technician who cleans and inspects the following components: inlet filter, air filter/screen, flame rod/electrode, intake and exhaust venting, condensate trap, and condensate neutralizer.

During the planned maintenance, the technician is also inspecting all of the parts and components within the boiler cabinet for any signs of corrosion, leaks, and failure. Special attention is directed to the heat exchanger/HEX to make sure this central part, critical to the operational life of the unit, is in good working condition.

When a technician has any concerns regarding the boiler, typically they will contact the manufacturer to review the concerns and determine recommended repairs or additional services. The manufacturer can also advise on warranty status and, if parts are needed, they can send replacement parts. Blue Conservation technicians carry most parts for the units we service.

If the boiler components are showing signs of deterioration, or if buildup of sediment and sludge restricts water flow or causes servo valves and three-way valves to fail, Blue Conservation technicians can replace these failed parts. In addition, by flushing the heating system with cleaners and injecting inhibitors, the boiler system will be protected moving forward.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you are experiencing any issues with your boiler or combi system.
